Rockwool tip! An easy way to cut rockwool is to flip the sheet of rockwool over onto a paper bag (cut open). Then, slice with a knife. Place a tray over the top of the cubes and, using the paper bag, flip them over. A half sheet pan (from Sam’s Club) works great too and as a bonus, has a short lip so if it rains, excess water flows over the side.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to immediately place in full sunlight or under a growlight!
