There is a simple way to vastly reduce the number of times you need to test the pH of the water of your Tower Garden! Start by adjusting the pH of a full tank of water. Use this method:

Never test your pH again!

Never test again? Going forward, ONLY test your pH if you observe a problem in the color of your plant leaves. The leaves should be the same color as the veins.
As long as the veins in the leaves and the leaf is the same color, you're doing fine. If your veins and leaf is the same color, you don't even need to test your pH. JUST ASSUME IT'S GOOD.

The Importance of pH
If the pH is too high, or too low, your plants cannot take up essential nutrients. Even though you're adding minerals to the water, if the pH is off, the plants cannot use them. Getting the pH 'just right' is important!
Did you know? The pH of your household water is influenced by the bedrock under your feet. Most of Florida is built on limestone, which is alkaline. If you test the water coming out of your tap, it most likely has a high pH (7.8-8.4). You need to lower the pH to 5.5 in order for your plants to grow healthy. To do this, you need to add "pH Down".
Note: some people are lucky and do not need to adjust their pH. If your pH is 5.5-6.2, you don't need to adjust!
